Pepper’s Ghost Effect

This is an illusionary technique used a lot during the victorian times in theatres and magic trick events. Using a sheet of glass and special lighting techniques, you can make someone appear and disappear giving the illusion of a ghost

Roxy Paine

Roxy Paine’s precisely engineered 3D printing machines are used to create sculptures of which the results are largely based on chance and gravity. These beautifully sculpted polyethylene bulbous forms exist on the threshold between the human desire for order and nature’s drive to reproduce. With its bold, overlapping forms the fleshy skin drapes over its plinth like a deflated, exhausted body.
