The Frame House by Omar Ghazal is a re-imagination of the Scouts’ contribution to the Festival of Britain (1951). The proposal is for a park that explores the possibilities of the unrealised proposals by the Scouts Association and acts as a memorial to the central ideals of the scout movement. The drawings outline contemporary structures that allegorically engage with this historical event at the same time as presenting a vision of how architecture for children can realise the central principles of scouting.
