The World’s Largest Solar Furnace - France

The solar furnace hanses the rays of the sun using  an array of mirrors on a curved surface acting as a parabolic reflectors to concentrate light on to a focal point. The temperature at the focal point can reach 3,000 degrees Celsius, and this heat can be used to generate electricity, melt steel or make hydrogen fuel.
